Important Information
We’re in the process of upgrading the NCFE Portal!
The new Portal will retain all its existing features, plus new features designed to make your life a whole lot easier:
- it’s easier to navigate
- it's easier to search
- it has additional search criteria
- it synchronises with our database real time (so you won’t have to wait 24 hours to see your data)
- and you’ll be able to tailor your account by adding new portal users when you need to.
In order to upgrade the Portal we need to take the system offline for a few days.
Therefore from Wednesday 10 December at 4pm until Tuesday 16 December at 8.30am you won’t be able to register candidates, enter candidates for external assessment or view any candidate information.
We’d be grateful if you would make arrangements to register or enter your candidates before or after these dates.
If you need any advice, please get in touch with your Centre Support Assistant, who’ll be happy to help.
From 16 December 2008 you can login with your existing Portal details.
We’ve updated the Portal handbook and tutorials to help you get to grips with the new site (or you can give your Centre Support Assistant a call who’ll be happy to talk you through it).
To log onto the Portal you’ll need at least the following system:
- Microsoft Windows 98 /ME / NT4+ / 200 0/ XP / Vista enabled
- Equivalent versions of Mac Os/Netscape.
If you don’t use these minimum system specifications, you might lose data and we won’t be able to retrieve it!
Access to the NCFE Portal requires a username and password.
Please note: The Portal uses cookies, pop-ups and javascript.
Minimum system requirements:
Microsoft Windows 98/Me/NT4+/2000/XP with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or
above with javascript enabled, or equivalent versions of Mac Os/Netscape.
NCFE cannot be held responsible for any loss of data resulting from centres
using specifications outside this recommendation.
