NCFE sponsors National Apprenticeship Awards

NCFE is delighted to have sponsored this year’s National Apprenticeship Awards and to support the government’s largest nationwide apprenticeship initiative. Now in its fifteenth year, the awards showcase the diverse range of sectors engaged with apprenticeships and celebrate the nation’s outstanding apprentices, employers and those individuals who go above and beyond to champion apprenticeships.

Hosted by the National Apprenticeship Service, the awards recognise excellence in businesses that grow their own talent with apprenticeships, and apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplaces. They provide businesses and individuals with a platform to showcase how apprenticeships have made a real difference to their organisation and their careers.

As a sponsor, NCFE had the opportunity to attend each of the ten regional ceremonies which took place across the country in September and David Gallagher, Managing Director at NCFE Apprenticeship Services was invited to sit on the judging panel. David said of his experience:

‘I’m absolutely delighted that NCFE have been able to support the Apprenticeship Awards this year and felt privileged to be asked to be part of the judging panel. Prestigious, high quality awards, such as these, are a very important part of raising the profile and value of Apprenticeships. Hearing the stories of some truly inspiring apprentices, the challenges they’ve faced and the successes they’ve achieved has been a fantastic experience. Through the awards, we’re recognising and celebrating their hard work, dedication and success, which sets a great example, and hopefully provides inspiration, to future generations of apprentices. And that is something that matters very much to NCFE.’

The regional events acted as the semi-finals for the main awards ceremony which took place on Wednesday 28 November in London. We’d like to extend our congratulations to the winners, it was a fantastic event and we wish you all the very best for the future!
