Progression to Higher Education

We work closely with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to create qualifications that enable learners to develop vital higher level study skills such as research methods, reflective practice, analysis and evaluation.

Our variety of assessment methods provide opportunities to develop academic writing skills through the internal unit and external synoptic assessments.

The qualifications allow learners to demonstrate behaviours such as commitment, motivation, self –directed study, working collaboratively, acting with integrity, critical thinking as well as the ability to problem solve.

Sector Specific Endorsement

Many HEI’s, including Russell Group Universities, accept our qualifications for entry to disciplines related to our progression portfolio below:

 Business admin and management

 Children and young people

 Early years education

 Health and social care

 Sport, public services and travel

It is important to note that HEI’s set their own entry requirements for degree courses. These requirements can vary depending on the subject area, prior attainment, demand for the course and the individual institution. It is advisable to check entry requirements with the chosen HEI before starting a qualification.
