REED NCFE Employability qualifications

We work in partnership with recruitment specialists REED to bring you a range of employability qualifications to ensure your pupils are prepared for the world of work.

Each qualification is designed so your pupils develop the right skills to pursue the career path of their choice.

These solutions are supported by online and paper-based resources, which are ideal for individual pupil use and classroom delivery.

The REED NCFE partnership qualifications include the following suites, which are ideal for supporting any developing or existing careers guidance strategy.

Independent Study and Career Skills

From Entry Level through to Level 3, these qualifications build upon research conducted by James Reed and Paul Stoltz (PhD), and will help pupils develop a range of independent study and career skills to support them whether they go on to employment or higher education.

These qualifications are suitable for pupils aged pre-16 and above and provide pupils with the knowledge needed to identify a programme of study that is aligned with clearly defined, realistic job goals making them a valuable accompaniment to existing career guidance programmes you may have in place.

Job Search and Interview Skills

Ideal for secondary school pupils looking to develop those all important job seeking skills, these qualifications will equip them with the mindset and skills they need to find and secure the right job for them. There is clear evidence that if pupils have the correct mindset they are three times more likely to be employed.
