Level 4 Early Years Advanced Practitioner - updated specification

You may have been aware of some changes to the NCFE CACHE Level 4 Certificate for the Early Years Advanced Practitioner (601/8424/3) which were proposed back in April. We took the decision to not release the changes due to discrepancies within the qualification content within different qualification documentation.

To address the discrepancies and cut down on delivery documents we have created a new Qualification Specification.

This new Qualification Specification, version 7, contains all of the guidance from the previous version of the Qualification Specification and the Additional Guidance for Assessment along with the following changes:

Working with others to support children with additional needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disability

This unit has been updated and is intended to provide appropriate progression from the new NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award For Special Educational Needs Coordinators In Early Years Settings (603/3476/9) qualification.



Working with families and other professionals in early years settings

There have been no changes to this unit.



Implementing change in an early years setting incorporating a small scale research project

There have been no changes to this unit.
