If a planned visit needs to be cancelled by the centre for whatever reason, it is a requirement that a minimum of 10 working days notice is given.
Whilst NCFE acknowledge that today’s work environment is a very busy one, the Programme Contact or another centre contact would be expected to inform the External Quality Assurer and the Customer Support Advisor if they need to cancel a visit.
If the EQA arrives at the centre without being notified the visit has been cancelled, this may count as one of the centre’s free visits.
NCFE also reserve the right to charge for any pre-arranged visits that a centre cancels without 5 working day’s notice, and the right to invoice the cost of the visit. This payment would be required before the next visit takes place, and we’ll issue an Order Confirmation to the centre’s Programme Contact.
