A support visit may be requested when a centre is running a qualification for the first time and would like additional guidance on how to run, assess and quality assure the programme.
A support visit may be requested when you are running a qualification for the first time and would like additional guidance on how to run, assess and quality assure the qualification, to make sure you are meeting NCFE requirements. Alternatively it might be that you’ve recently been approved by NCFE and require some help planning and understanding the assessment criteria before you start to deliver the qualification.
A support visit can be requested before learners have been registered or afterwards, and this will be in addition to your 2 free allocated quality assurance visits. Your External Quality Assurer will normally be able to carry out the visit.
Otherwise, if you feel that you would prefer sector specific in-house staff training, you can request a Bespoke Training Event. This will be delivered by NCFE at your centre and you can request this by filling out the bespoke training request form.
