Our qualifications in Creative Craft, Employability, Mentoring, Fitness Instructing, Hospitality, Health & Safety and Radio are ideal for Traineeship programmes. These qualifications allow learners in the secure estate aged 19-24 to develop knowledge and skills and try out roles in a range of different work sectors.
Including regulated qualifications in your Traineeship programmes will not only add to the quality and rigour of your delivery, but learners will achieve a recognised qualification and a certificate upon completion. They’ll also have the opportunity to transfer their achievement through credit transfer which may be particularly relevant for those progressing to an Apprenticeship or on to further learning.
What’s more, these sample traineeships also have units in employability skills, which would cover the ‘work preparation’ element of the traineeship programme and help your learners to make the leap from secure estate education to the workplace.
We’ve put together a helpful guide to assist secure estate centres with the process of becoming an approved centre to run Traineeships which can be found here.
Our partners, and employability experts, REED NCFE may be able to support with the planning and securing of work placements for learners whilst on ‘Release on Temporary License (ROTL)’.
See below for our sample Traineeship programmes for Secure Estate Learners (19-24).
