It’s an exciting time for learners to begin a career pathway in travel. The sector is experiencing  a huge bounce back following the impact of the global pandemic, including the return of 100m jobs.

Sector insights

Travel and tourism is one of the world’s largest industries, responsible for one in ten jobs globally.1It’s the fastest growing sector2 in Britain and by 2025, Britain’s tourism industry will be worth over £257 billion and support almost 3.8 million jobs3.

Alongside the revival of international travel, domestic tourism is also flourishing due to the increased popularity of "staycations" at home in the UK.

A recruitment boom is on the horizon, and we want to help learners to be ready and equipped to seize these opportunities within the travel sector.

Our travel qualifications provide routes into higher education, with Level 3 attracting UCAS points,as well as pathways into the workforce. We also provide a range of smaller, supporting qualifications in the sector, including aviation, business travel and resort representatives.
