New Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate

As the leading provider of care qualifications, NCFE is delighted to be launching a new Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate. 

Coming June 2024, this qualification is being developed as part of the Department of Health and Social Care’s (DHSC) drive to raise standards and professional outcomes within the care workforce. 

This initiative will see up to £53.91m of funding being made available by DHSC to support 37,000 individuals in direct adult social care roles to complete the new qualification between June 2024 and March 2025. 

The NCFE certificate is being developed to align with a new specification written by Skills for Care which is based on the existing Care Certificate standards*.
