- bespoke training programmes to help providers meet local skills improvement plans and delivering for their region
- expertise to support Mayoral Strategic Authorities (MSAs) in shaping strategies that improve employment outcomes and social mobility
- specialist consultancy services, including bid training and writing, policy and research support, and quality assurance for skills programme delivery.

Suzanne Slater - Commercial Director
Suzanne leads NCFE's commercial strategy across devolved regions, bringing a wealth of experience from both the further education and training sector and major blue-chip organisations. She is passionate about working with regional partners to develop bespoke, high impact skills and qualification solutions that drive social mobility, support regional economic growth, and respond directly to employer and labour market needs.
Suzanne works closely with key stakeholders and partners nationally, as well as within the North East and Tees Valley regions, ensuring NCFE’s offer is aligned, innovative, and strategically positioned to make a meaningful difference.

David Redden – Commercial Manager
David brings over 16 years of experience in education and skills development. He plays a key role in engaging with local authorities, employers, training providers, and wider stakeholders to understand and develop tailored solutions for adult learners.
By combining data‑driven insights, collaborative partnership working, and a deep understanding of local economic needs, he works to design and champion initiatives that meet the regional needs, show impact and drive social mobility across the Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire regions.

Claire Bridger – Commercial Manager
Claire brings over 20 years of experience in education and training, specialising in aligning commercial opportunities with regional priorities to create meaningful impact. She leads with a collaborative, customer‑focused mindset, working closely with stakeholders to co‑create solutions that genuinely respond to the needs of learners and the communities they serve.
Focusing on the West Midlands and Greater London Authority devolved regions, Claire develops strategies shaped by local ambitions, funding landscapes and inclusive growth agendas. Her work centres on ensuring NCFE’s offer remains competitive, relevant and socially purposeful.
