Provider-Appointed Assessor Approval

T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years (Level 3)

Providers must ensure that all provider-appointed assessors are approved by NCFE before undertaking any assessment activity. This process ensures that assessors meet the required occupational competence, qualifications, and quality assurance standards.

This page explains how to:

  • Apply for approval of a new assessor
  • Understand application outcomes
  • Notify NCFE when an assessor leaves your organisation

Important information

  • Assessors must not carry out any assessment activity until approval has been confirmed by NCFE.
  • Only NCFE-approved assessors can undertake assessment activity.
  • Any changes to provider-appointed assessors must be communicated to NCFE promptly.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in action being taken to protect the integrity of assessment.
