This document has been developed to support tutors with the contextualisation of general mathematics competencies during teaching and learning of the T Level Technical Qualification in Education and Early Years. 

This document is a guide only and activities/experiences are not exhaustive.  We continue to recommend that providers liaise with a mathematics specialist to fully appreciate student knowledge and understanding.    

Within the document, suggested activities support the contextualisation of mathematical skills to increase student understanding through application to familiar and relevant experiences taken from education and early years.
