About this qualification
This qualification is designed for learners who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of technology enabled care (TEC). It will support the learner to develop their knowledge of how technology can be used to help improve an individual’s quality of life and support them to live independently.

This qualification is suitable for a wide range of learners aged 16 years or over, either working or wishing to work in health and social care specifically using TEC.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific prior skills/knowledge a learner must have for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 1 healthcare or social care related qualification.
How is this qualification structured?
To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully achieve 4 mandatory units.

This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured via a portfolio of evidence.
How long will it take to complete this qualification?
This qualification can be completed in under 1 year.
Do you need to be working to take this qualification?
Experience in the workplace is not required for this qualification.
