Why this course matters

Many neurodivergent live with the effects of trauma caused by adverse experiences, and systems that don’t meet their needs. Social misunderstanding, sensory overload, and the pressures to mask natural behaviours can be stressful and traumatic. 

Trauma-informed practice is a strong foundation,  but it doesn’t always reflect neurodivergent experiences. Without a neuroinclusive approach, traits can be misunderstood or overlooked.  Systems can remain hard to access even when they aim to be trauma-informed. 

This course gives you clear, practical steps to make your interactions safer and more effective. It can be applied in a wide range of settings including health, care, education, social services and management.
