These workbooks have been developed to support year 7 to 11 learners who are studying this qualification. Throughout the workbooks, you will find a range of activities that support the learner’s knowledge and understanding of the topic. These activities will allow learners to develop their skills in research and reflection and think deeply about their relationships and health. The workbooks are a versatile resource which can be used by learners to complete at home or as part of classroom activities or can be used by delivery staff as complementary teaching materials. 

This workbook covers unit 4 specification content for year 10 learners. The content and activities in this workbook are intended to enhance knowledge and understanding of how change (e.g. in society and families), health and equality issues can affect people and relationships.

Learners will understand what contributes to a healthy relationship, sexual health and social influences (including pornography and social media) and will have considered family and parenting relationships and their personal health goals for the future. Learners will understand health and safety and how to minimise risks and protect themselves and others.
