This qualification is designed to help learners develop personal and social skills.
Nested qualification
This qualification is nested. Qualifications within a nested suite allow learners to be topped up to a qualification that is the same level and subject within the Award and Certificate structure. Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is suitable for learners aged pre-16 and above.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for these qualifications.
How is this qualification structured?
To be awarded the NCFE Level 1 Award in Personal and Social Development (501/0672/7), learners must achieve a minimum of 4 units for a minimum credit value of 7 from the units in Group A. At least 5 credits must be achieved at Level 1 or above.
How is it assessed?
This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured.
How many credits are required to complete it?
To be awarded this qualification learners must successfully achieve 7 credits from the mandatory units in Group A.
Learners may wish to complete the additional units from Group B to gain extra credits, however, these units will not contribute to the overall credit value of the qualification.
