Current opportunities

We’re committed to helping you feel prepared when applying and interviewing for roles. We've created guides to support you with your CV and interview preparation.

What should your CV include?

Your CV is your opportunity to give an employer insight into your skills, experience and achievements. If you’re applying for an entry level role, you may not have previously produced one.

Taking time to produce your CV is important so that you stand out for the role you’re applying for. Check out our guide on how to write your first CV.

Interview tips

You might not know what to expect before an interview - so we’ve pulled together a guide to help you feel more confident, whether your interview is with us or another employer.

If you have an interview with NCFE, you can download our interview pack, which is designed to help you feel prepared or read our interview tips.

Supporting early careers through apprenticeships

NCFE is an approved end point assessment organisation (EPAO), specialising in health, social care and early years apprenticeships, so you might complete one of our qualifications even if you work somewhere else.

We also pride ourselves on honouring the success of learners, apprentices, educators, support staff and educational organisations across the UK through our annual Aspiration Awards.

Hear from our 2025 Apprentice of the Year winner Carly Tait:

The hardest part of getting a job is getting in the door. My apprenticeship got me in the door and I never left.

Paul Gair, Information Security Analyst

At NCFE, we don’t just offer entry-level roles – we also support our colleagues' growth through apprenticeships. As a levy-paying organisation, we give colleagues the chance to upskill while working full-time. So if you secure a role with us, you could also find the opportunity to study for an apprenticeship at the same time.

We’re also proud to support others beyond NCFE. Last year, we shared our levy funding with five organisations, helping them up-skill their colleagues and supporting our commitment to social impact.

Our commitment to Youth Employment UK

We’re proud to be committed to the Good Youth Employment Standards, promoted by Youth Employment UK. These standards encompass various aspects of early careers, work experience, and employment, aiming to improve the overall quality of young people's experiences in the workplace.

Young Person Ambassador Programme

We've created the NCFE Young Person Ambassador Programme as part of our EDI committee, to support and empower young people. The programme offers the chance to build skills, attend workshops, share experiences, and help shape youth-friendly policies, while also growing personally and professionally. If you join NCFE, you’ll also have the opportunity to join this network.

Being Chair of the Young Person Ambassador Programme is really rewarding. It's exciting to be creating a more supportive and inclusive workplace for young people.
