Shaping the future of learning and assessment

We’re on a mission to break boundaries in assessment with an investment fund to support and pilot new ideas on the future of assessment.

Who we’re working with…

We’re working with organisations of all types and sizes who have proposed innovations that focus on assessment that will build trust and confidence and add value to all stakeholders including learners, educators, employers and government.

Each project has been evaluated by an expert panel. The expert panel is selected based on their experience and expertise in relation to the area of assessment innovation; ensuring approaches and solutions are inherently fair and provide an appropriate level of ‘recognisable value’ to all.

Between 2021 and 2025, NCFE offered seven windows of funding to develop and support innovative assessments.
