Colleges, independent training providers and local authorities can deliver funded qualifications to provide adults with enhanced skills for work. Upon completion, adults can progress into work or sign up to an apprenticeship. National funding is available via procurement for non-devolved regions.

Case Study: CT Skills

Nottingham-based education provider, CT Skills secured funding through the Adult Skills Fund to revolutionise their learning offering with more interactive online experiences.

The goal was to offer free online courses that would either enhance existing skills or provide vital skills to unemployed individuals, meeting local and regional gaps. In particular, CT Skills is focused on delivering mental health and wellbeing courses to support Nottingham's five-year strategy in this area.
