Rescheduling a planned review | NCFE

What can we help you find?

Rescheduling a planned review

Quality assurance reviews are an essential part of our quality assurance process and should proceed as scheduled wherever possible.

If a planned review (including approval, annual monitoring, external quality assurance, or visiting moderation) needs to be cancelled by the centre for any reason, a minimum of 10 working days’ notice must be provided.

While we understand that operational demands can be challenging, it is the responsibility of the Programme Contact, or another designated centre contact to notify NCFE if a review needs to be rescheduled or cancelled.

Important Information

If:

  • a review is cancelled with fewer than 10 working days’ notice
  • assessment and IQA tracking documents are not provided when requested by the EQA
  • required evidence is not uploaded at least 2 working days before the review.

NCFE reserves the right to charge the centre in accordance with our published fees and pricing list.

Repeated Cancellations

Repeated cancellations may result in sanctions in line with the JCQ Suspected Malpractice: Policies and Procedures.
