Apprenticeship certificate enquiry

NCFE claim the apprenticeship certificate with the DfE 10 working days after the release of the overall grade. The DfE will then print and dispatch the certificate which should be received within six weeks from the claim being submitted. Please use the enquiry form below to report any certificate that has not been received, contains incorrect information, or has arrived damaged.

Access Your Apprenticeship Certificate Online

This service is intended for original apprenticeship certificates that have been requested through NCFE but have not been received, or certificates that have since been misplaced.

If you completed an apprenticeship in England on or after 1 February 2012, you can use the Department for Education's online service to:

• View and download your apprenticeship certificate

• Share your certificate digitally with employers or training providers

• Request a printed copy of your certificate

This provides a quick and easy way to access your certificate whenever you need it.

The first time you use this service

• You will need a GOV.UK One Login. If you do not already have one, you can create one when you sign in.

• To help keep your information secure, you may be asked to verify your identity using photo identification, such as a passport or driving licence.

• Use your Unique Learner Number (ULN) if you have it. Your school, college, or training provider can provide your ULN, and it may also be printed on exam certificates or results slips.

• If you do not have your ULN, you will need to answer some questions about your apprenticeship instead.
