About this qualification
The purpose of this qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding required to enter the spectator safety sector.
The qualification is mapped to the SkillsActive Spectator Safety NOS suite 2019.
Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is specifically suited to volunteers at spectator events supporting more experienced staff.
What are the entry requirements?
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 16 or above to undertake this qualification.
How is this qualification structured?
Learners must achieve the 5 mandatory units.
How is it assessed?
This qualification is internally assessed with an externally quality assured portfolio of evidence.
How many credits are required to complete it?
11 credits.
Do you need to be working to take this qualification?
This is a knowledge only qualification. Work/industry placement experience is not required.
