This qualification is designed for learners who would like to learn about the environment and climate change.
What are the entry requirements?
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 14 or above to undertake this qualification.
How is this qualification structured?
Learners must achieve the 3 mandatory units.
How is it assessed?
This qualification is internally assessed with an externally quality assured portfolio of evidence.
Do you need to be working to take this qualification?
Experience in the workplace is not required.
What related qualifications can you progress to?
Learners could progress to the following qualifications:
• Level 3 Award in Business Management for the Environment and Land-based Sector
• Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Sustainable Resource Management
• Level 3 Diploma in Energy Management.
This qualification would support learners to progress to, or within, employment in a variety of sectors.
