Important updates for Graphic Design, Interactive Media and Music Technology V Certs 

We previously communicated that the following V Cert Technical Awards, approved for 2023 performance tables, will be withdrawn for new registrations on 31/12/2022: 

• NCFE Level 1 Technical Award in Interactive Media 603/0851/5  
• NCFE Level 2 Technical Award in Interactive Media 603/0852/7  
• NCFE Level 1 Technical Award in Music Technology 601/6777/4  
• NCFE Level 2 Technical Award in Music Technology 601/6774/9  
• NCFE Level 1 Technical Award in Graphic Design 603/0844/8  
• NCFE Level 2 Technical Award in Graphic Design 603/0845/X . 

We’ve decided to extend this date until 31 August 2023 to allow you to transfer learners between the Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications if required, to ensure that all learners achieve the qualification they deserve. The last certification date for these qualifications will remain as 31 December 2024. 

As a reminder, these qualifications are being withdrawn due to being replaced by new versions which are approved for the 2024 and 2025 KS4 performance tables.
