We want to help educators to progress throughout their careers. That’s why we have many continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities to help you become lifelong learners, making sure your knowledge and skills always reflect what the sector needs.
We also run national training events, including webinars and networking opportunities. This helps you to improve teaching practice and learner outcomes, and support world class learning.
Creating world-class educators of the future
We’ve partnered with WorldSkills UK on a new Centre of Excellence, which is the first of its kind to be launched in the UK. This will draw on WorldSkills UK’s unique insights into global skills systems as well as our expertise in technical education to mainstream excellence in skills development.
The programme will work directly with educators so that they become artful and inspiring world-class teaching practitioners. Ultimately, this will inspire more young people from all backgrounds to take up apprenticeships and technical education as a prestigious route to success.
