NCFE's assessment approach consists of:

  • Portfolio evidence and Question and Answer assessment.

This combined approach has been designed specifically for Level 2 learners.

We developed this assessment model in consultation with providers and sector stakeholders. It is designed to:

  • reduce assessment burden
  • support learner confidence
  • provide a proportionate assessment approach
  • maintain confidence in outcomes.
