This qualification is designed for learners looking to increase their knowledge and awareness of mental health. There are no specific prior skills/knowledge a learner must have for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved an entry level qualification.
How is this qualification structured?
To be awarded this qualification, learners are required to successfully achieve one mandatory unit.

Internally assessed and externally quality assured via a portfolio of evidence.
How many credits are required to complete it?
The credit value for this qualification is 3 credits.
How long will it take to complete this qualification?
The total qualification time (TQT) for this qualification is 30 hours.
The total guided learning hours (GLH) is 24 hours.
Is employment or completion of work/industry placement required for this qualification?
No. This is a knowledge-only qualification. Work/industry placement experience is not required.
