This award is aimed at young people wanting to develop their life skills within existing educational systems and employment, but is also extremely effective for those young people on the periphery who are traditionally hard to reach.
The award aims to:
• raise an awareness and understanding of the learner’s potential resources and natural talent
• develop a belief within the learner of their abilities to make what they want happen and succeed
• encourage the learner to start thinking about the possibilities and alternatives which are available to them
• explore and develop the learners ability to create positive change
• equip learners to start implementing effective thinking skills
• enable learners to understand how personal goals need to expand their comfort zones and how to start setting these goals
