About this qualification
This qualification is designed to extend learners’ skills in craft to an advanced level. It will improve learners’ creative and intellectual ability in communication, innovation and critical evaluation, and extend their understanding of health and safety issues.
Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is designed for learners who are looking to develop their understanding of creative craft concepts and materials in a chosen area. Learners should be aged 16 or above to undertake this qualification.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a level 2 qualification.
How is this qualification structured?
To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Creative Craft, learners are required to successfully complete 4 mandatory units.
How is it assessed?
This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured via a portfolio of evidence.
How long will it take to complete this qualification?
This qualification can be completed in 1 to 2 years depending on the learner’s knowledge and experience.
Is employment or completion of work/industry placement required for this qualification?
These are not required for this qualification.
