Preparing for placement
We understand that it may be challenging for learners to enter placement settings due to restrictions announced by the Government on 4 January 2021. At the beginning of the academic year, we created a pre-placement programme for learners who may not be able to access their placements.
The preparing for placement programme will be a useful tool for learners to work through whilst waiting for a suitable time to begin their placements or re-enter settings.
We have created separate programmes for learners in the following sectors: early years and childcare, health and social care, and supporting teaching and learning. Find the programme suitable for your learners on the individual sector pages linked below.
Early years and childcare learners
Health and social care learners
Supporting teaching and learning learners
CACHE Alumni
Designed specifically for individuals within the care and education sectors, CACHE Alumni is our professional membership website packed full of tools and resources to help achieve learning and development.
Your feedback is important to us
We hope that you find the programme useful in helping learners prepare for placement. Your feedback is important to us and we use this to adapt and improve our resources, to ensure we are giving you all the support you need.
If you have any comments or if there’s anything else that you would like us to offer, please get in touch.
