Preparing to moderate and key dates
As we approach the assessment windows for the moderated components of the Occupational Specialisms in Health, Healthcare Science and Science T Levels, we encourage you to get prepared by reviewing the guidance available on our moderation webpage.

Assessment windows opening this month:
- Monday 23 March – Health Core assessment window opens
- Thursday 26 March – Healthcare Science and Science assessment windows open

Health and Science – Generation 2 approvals
Whilst the provider approval window opened on Thursday 26 February for providers commencing delivery in September 2026, the approval window for the Health and Science T Levels won’t open until the Generation 2 versions have been approved by the Department for Education (DfE). Pearson will let providers know when this has been confirmed.
Please read the following message from Pearson on their approval process:
You must gain approval for each Technical Qualification you wish to deliver. You have until 28 June to apply for approval to start delivering T Levels in September 2026.
