V Level results release: what you need to know
We’ll release results for Level 1/2 Technical Awards (V Certs) to you on Monday 17 August. These are released to you in an embargoed state, allowing you to prepare for sharing them with your learners on Thursday 20 August.
Checking your learners’ results
Please ensure you check the results that you’ve received on the day that they’re released to you and get in touch if you have any queries so that we can resolve any issues before learners receive their results. You can contact us to query missing or incomplete results via [email protected], or through our Customer Support team.
However, please remember that we can’t accept any post-results submissions until Thursday 20 August, as these require learner consent.

Reminder that there are no resits for the Level 1/2 Technical Awards (V Certs)
As a reminder, there are no resits for single assessments, early attempts at either assessment, and learners cannot combine multiple attempts across more than one series. Learners can retake the qualification in full, but no assessment results from previous attempts at the qualification can be carried forward. Learners must complete both assessments in a single series, and this provides their qualification outcome.
Although there are no resits, these qualifications give learners a platform for further study if they do go on to continue that subject in further education – they'll have subject-specific knowledge which gives them a head start and helps set them up for future success.
Certification
You don't need to claim certificates for your Level 1/2 Technical Award (V Cert) learners
Your learners will be auto-certificated 6 weeks after results release date. This means you’ll be able to view their e-certificates from 1 October on the Portal and will receive a physical copy of the certificates around 4 weeks after this date.
Please make sure that we have the correct address for your learners’ certificates in the Portal.
Withdrawing learners and changing planned end dates
Once results are released, please withdraw any learners who haven’t completed, or update their planned end dates via the Portal. If you haven’t updated learner records before the new term starts in September, this may be classed as maladministration, and we will need to escalate accordingly. To withdraw learners or change their planned end dates, please follow the instructions in our Portal User Guide.
