About this qualification
This qualification is designed to give learners the skills to work in the travel and tourism sector.
Learners will gain those skills by successfully completing the units required. This qualification will also enable progression to further studies.

Who is it suitable for?
This qualification is designed for learners who want to go on to higher level studies or into a relevant travel and tourism role.
This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and above.
What are the entry requirements?
Learners should have already achieved a Level 2 Travel and Tourism qualification, or equivalent, or have some experience/understanding of the subject area.
How is this qualification structured?
To be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism (601/7935/1), learners must complete 3 mandatory units, 9 optional units consisting of a maximum of 6 aviation units.
How is it assessed?
This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured via a portfolio of evidence.
How long will it take to complete this qualification?
This qualification has a total qualification time (TQT) of 960 hours and features 720 guided learning hours (GLH).
Is employment or completion of work/industry placement required for this qualification?
This is not required for these qualifications.
