Celebrating the success of Level 3 and T Level students
This week marks a significant milestone for thousands of learners across the country as they receive their Level 3 and T Level results. Their achievements reflect the dedication of centres, educators and support teams who’ve guided them throughout their journey. Data on overall T Level results is owned by the Department for Education, and we’re delighted that nationally nearly 12,000 T Level students will be receiving their results today.
We’ll be sharing updates and stories from learners and centres throughout the day, highlighting the impact of technical and vocational education in shaping future careers.

Alicia Ann Campion, 18, Merit, T Level in Education and Early Years
No way I’m shaking, I got in. I’m going on to study psychology with counselling at the University of Sunderland because I want to work in children’s mental health with CAMHS. During lockdown, I had school therapy to help with PTSD after a heart operation, and I saw how much everyone’s mental health and health anxiety were affected. That experience inspired me to make a difference for young people’s mental health.
Casey, 18 , studied Education and Early Years T Level achieving a Merit. She is going on to study Education SEN and mental health at York St John.
‘I enjoyed SEN teaching most when in the placements ... I would like to go into work as a child psychologist’

Molly faced a lot of personal challenges during the programme, but still managed to achieve what she needed for her future career path.
'I loved the placement doing half and half, getting a chance to demonstrate practical skills'.
Ruby is going to York University to study Primary Education. She loved the primary school placement and now wants to be a teacher.
Sophie is going to Cumbria University to study Primary Education. Sophie loved the placement in a primary school and was offered a supply job afterwards.
Maisie Perry (left - T Level in Laboratory Science) and Leah Howe (right - T Level in Health). Both secured places at Sunderland University. Maisie will be studying Biomedical Science and Leah will be studying Adult Nursing.
Leah initially started A Levels, but felt they were not the right fit so transferred to T Level. Both loved the placement element because it prepared them for what's to come next. They got to see real operations and pathology procedures!
Jen Mallaburn (L) and Lauren Patten (R) are both staff at the college. Lauren shared her experience teaching the T Level in Education and Early Years:
"I love teaching on the T Level Education and Early Years. The qualification is purposeful and great. The students that come onto the qualification show dedication and motivation toward their studies. Support from NCFE has been great. The faculty here at New College are amazing and add to the overall learning experience. Working together collaboratively with the settings enhances the overall experience."
