To help you prepare for your exams, find below a full list of qualifications we currently provide past papers and mark schemes for.

Only a small number of NCFE qualifications are externally assessed, so please be aware not all subjects will have exam papers available.

Also note, the most recent past papers and mark schemes require a centre login which means they are not available to learners.

How to access past papers:
  • use the dropdown menus below to find your qualification
  • click on your qualification page
  • navigate to the Assessment Materials tab and scroll down to find past papers.

If a past paper is available, you can then download it by clicking the download icon.

Frequently asked questions

While past papers won't accurately predict the exact questions or topics you'll find in a exam, they can be a useful revision tool to help you get into the right mindset and identify any gaps in your knowledge. Learn more about NCFE past papers below.

Which past papers are available?

We don't have past papers for all of our qualifications as some NCFE qualifications don't have exams or external assessments. If you can't see past papers under the Assessment Materials tab, they are not available for your qualification.

Why can't I view the most recent past papers?

Only NCFE approved schools and colleges have access to the most recent exam papers. This ensures that there is always at least one exam paper available for mock exams.

How can I best use past papers to revise?

When preparing for exams, past papers can be a smart way of revising; boosting confidence and familiarising you with the exam format.

One top tip is to practice questions under exam conditions to see how well you can answer questions under pressure. This will help you manage your time effectively and understand how much detail you can provide within the time limit.
