Bite-sized English and maths qualification redevelopment
We’re redeveloping our suite of English and maths bite-sized qualifications. This is to bring them up to date and map the content more closely to reformed Functional Skills. The qualifications will continue to be internally assessed and we’ll be offering certificate-sized qualifications at Entry 1 to Level 2 from 1 August 2022. We’re currently reviewing the availability of award-sized qualifications within the suite. More information about the new qualifications will be shared in the coming months.
We’re therefore withdrawing the existing suite of qualifications including certificates, themed awards, awards, and unit registrations from 31 July 2022. Details of all qualifications being withdrawn can be found below, or by searching for the qualification title or code on QualHub:
